Our Faith
Through belief, faith and most importantly HIS GRACE we have been led to give back to a special group of God's children, the men and their families of the US and IDF Special Operations Forces. You have served your nation and its allies freely and selflessly. Through this service, you have sustained mental, emotional and spiritual injuries and scars, in addition to the physical impact. The Refuge is a safe retreat and treatment center for our SF community who is suffering, struggling or lost in this civilian world. It is our desire to become the people and foundation that our Messiah uses to serve and shelter His lost sheep. Matthew 25:31-46, Galations 5:13
While our goal is to speak in unity of mind and Spirit regarding the corner stone of our faith, we serve all, no matter your faith or religious background. Our doors are open and we invite you to walk in beneath the canopy of the shed blood of our Messiah as we humbly serve as ambassadors of His righteousness. Deuteronomy 8:2; 10:12-13
Our statement of faith below uses many Hebrew words. We encourage you to refer to the Bible scriptures listed, as these are foundational beliefs of many Christian and Jewish congregations.

All Scripture, both the Tanakh (Old Covenant) and B'rit Chadashah (Renewed Covenant), is given by inspiration and authority of Elohim (Self Existant), infallible in its original Hebrew and Greek language, and is to be used for doctrine, for reproof, for correction and for instruction in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16.

We believe that

. Deuteronomy 6:4-6:25. (Biblical scholors are not in agreement how to properly pronounce the personal name of our Elohim
. We are only doing our best based upon current Biblical scholorship. When this is finally revealed to the world we will update as needed.)

Messiah Yehoshua is the ultimate blood atonement required for the removal of sins. He died by execution stake and rose from the dead three days afterward. Everyone who repents of their sins, and trusts that Yehoshua is the Messiah, who died as the perfect sacrifice for our sins and rose again, they are forgiven their past sins and come into a renewed covenant with
through Him. Therefore, becoming inheritors of all the promises
made with Abraham and Israel as we walk in obedience to His Torah. Isaiah 53, Romans 10:9-11, 1 Corinthians 5:7.

The B'rit Chadashah in Messiah Yehoshua brings with it a renewing of the covenant found within the Tanakh and the Torah of
so that Ruach HaKodesh may indwell there (Ezekiel 36:26-27) and so that we are able to walk as our Messiah walked (1 John 2: 1-6): in obedience to His Torah (Ezekiel 36:24- 28).

Mikveh (baptism). The mikveh is an integral part of the New Birth described in the B'rit Chadasha. A complete external immersion in water (mikveh) is performed to declare that an internal change has taken place. We believe in mikveh by immersion; and that all who repent should be mikvehed in the name (authority) of Yeshua. Jeremiah 31:31-34, Ezekiel 39:29.
